Kalaheo is located on the south side of Kaua’i. It has two main residential areas; the Makai (ocean) side of Kaumua’i’i Hwy and the Mauka (mountain) side of Kaumuali’i Hwy. There are a few small stores, post-office, medical centers, gas stations and a few restaurants in the center of town. One of the main attractions in Kalaheo is Kukuiolono Golf Course, a small 9 hole public golf course with gorgeous ocean views.
