Waimea is located on the west side of Kauai. It is known to be the dryer, warmer side of the island. There are a few restaurants and shops, along with a few gas stations and grocery stores. A popular attraction in Waimea is driving up the Waimea Canyon and Koke’e State Park which have incredible lookouts and scenery overlooking the island of Ni’ihau.
